Established in 1991, CCA is a nondenominational, multi-ethnic, Pre-K to 8 Christian school in the Merrimack Valley region. Our philosophy of education focuses on excellence in academics while imparting the Word of God to our students, nurturing and guiding them as individuals one student at a time.
CCA’s vision is to be a school that helps parents train their children in the ways of Jesus Christ and to impart the skills and knowledge that students will need to make a significant impact in the Kingdom of God.
CCA's mission is to provide Christ-centered, quality education and to cultivate the next generation of citizens who will be a transforming influence in the world.
We believe...
Enrollment in Community Christian Academy assumes that you are in agreement with the above beliefs.
Community Christian Academy adheres to a wholly Biblical worldview as the foundation for education. CCA ascribes its foundation on the one true God and His revealed Word–the Bible. With the goal of equipping students to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives, CCA believes that education is a primary tool for transformation. Education expresses beliefs about life; CCA produces confidence in those beliefs.
For many years, the leaders of Community Christian Fellowship prayed continually for a Christian school that would service the Greater Lowell area.
In 1991, CCA was founded with an initial enrollment of 30 students located at 100 Industrial Ave. Year after year, enrollment steadily grew.
In 1999, a partnership began with Calvary Chapel of Chelmsford, which resulted in grades 9-12 moving to the Calvary Chapel campus in order to allow growth for all departments.
In 2003, Community Christian Fellowship and Academy moved to its current facility at 105 Princeton Blvd. in Lowell, MA where there is a full gymnasium, kitchen, 600-seat sanctuary, fellowship hall, two playgrounds, and more.
In May 2008, the school board decided to move grades 9-12 to the main campus. This allowed for easier access to the gymnasium and auditorium facilities.
The 2010-2011 school year marked the school's 20th anniversary. This year brought with it a brand new science lab, library, art classroom, and more.
In June 2012, a decision was made to discontinue the high school program and concentrate on strengthening the preschool, elementary, and junior high grades. From then on, the facility has undergone continuous improvement and we are utilizing every room and common space to its max.
Fast forward to the 2025-2026 school year, God has been faithful through many seasons. We excelled through the pandemic of 2020-2022, we witnessed a smooth transition in principals, and we have re-established a thriving PTO! The last 34 years have been incredible, and we look forward to many more years of Christian schooling!
